I’m not advocating for this, and I still don’t think it happens for quite a while, but in my opinion it is clear that the US will eventually have to go the authoritarian route for national security reasons. The trend of no one believing in the institutions, or the media, while fun to shite on, is not a sustainable position to be in. The moment that a crisis happens like a war we are toast, and even another Covid would be catastrophic because absolutely no one would believe it (catastrophic if the gov tried to enforce mandates).
I’d love to be wrong, but it will take some drastic National unifying moment to get us back on track, and I have a hard time seeing how it happens.

It is a Supreme Court ruling based upon the law. It’s a good ruling from a legal standpoint regardless of whether companies went woke or not. That’s why conservatives liked it. It’s the dems that shite all over the constitution, usually.

Maybe you can point me to which billionaire was tweeting out which departments they were defunding
I know MAGAs generally don’t make a big deal about government documents on private servers, but I cant imagine this kind of thing would have flown under the radar during the Obama/Biden administration.

It's not even that complicated of an issue.
Less emotion.
More rationality.
Less isolation within echo chambers.
More interaction with the out group.

Problem is with an ultra connected society, none of this is possible.
Hell even in a non-connected society you don't see much in the way of interacting with the out group
