Sen. Elizabeth Warren is introducing a bill that would cancel student loan debts of tens of millions of Americans. The bill would forgive $50,000 in student loans for Americans in households earning less than $100,000 a year.

Basically, if you chose your college and major poorly (or didn’t try) and now you aren’t making any money, you are rewarded. If you got a degree in something worthwhile that is lucrative and worth the loan, sorry you have to pay.
Gasoline on the fire. What benefit is it to the tax payers to keep encourage brainless kids to rack up 200k in debt to get a degree in lesbian dance theory? There are many wasteful expenditures in the government but this is about as bad as it gets.

So what if I make $101k in San Francisco with $50k in student debt? Do I ask my boss for a $1,001 decrease in annual pay?

Um, the bill won’t forgive 150k of that.

I am waiting for one of them to say every soul gets a money tree for $19.95 act now and get a free MYPILLOW and Ginsu knives.

So those of us who are successful, make more than 100k AND actually pay our debts get royally fricked.
Congrats Dems.

What if you were responsible and paid off your loan?
Don't get me wrong, that person doesn't deserve shite either, but I imagine there will be some butt hurt people out there knowing they did things right and others got off easy.

The laziness of society now is baffling.
Don't take a loan you can't afford to pay back. Not hard.

Elizabeth Warren's understanding of finance is no better than I would expect from a 7th grader.
Frankly, I suspect she wouldn't be at the top of the 7th grade class in my kid's school on this one.

Democrat politicians. I'll give you free shite. Vote for me.

Here's a question.
Does the bill revamp how future student loans would be doled out?
If not, what sane person would pass cancellation legislation?

The 100k household limit is absolutely ridiculous.

The government is going to pay for this how?
Posted on 7/23/19 at 1:15 pm to RebelExpress38
I'll take "What's DOA in the Senate?" for $1000 Alex

I also like how it’s 100k household earnings rather than individual earnings.
Part of me thinks she is proposing this with intent for it to fail.

Well that's the other dirty little Democrat secret.
They TALK a lot about taxing "the rich" and, a lot of dumb fricks think this means Bill Gates.
You'd be amazed at how many people there are with household incomes of greater than 100K that have NO frickING IDEA the left considers THEM rich too!

Do the students who paid off their loans get a refund?
