I get it now. Missed the sarcasm initially.

Could be. But I have for a very long time believed that the American people will eventually vote for Authoritarian Socialism. It could happen next year, or next decade or next Century, but I believe it will happen.
The USA will be a Democratic Socialist authoritarian regime.

Isn't Miami very liberal? So not really that shocking I believe to be honest.

By design by both parties
Yep, they perfectly sculpt popular opinion to make sure both sides can blame the other as to why the things they've always promised just can't happen this time, but if you donate extra hard and stay divided against your family and neighbors then we'll definitely get it done next time.

tariffs successful
Yep
The issue is, the media is convincing retards tariffs are bad. Inflation is way down too. But, since it's not zero, media convinces retards it's an issue.

I certainly don’t expect him or his admin to argue against the free market

The way is joining the Democrats and starting your own NGO.
Like a good serial rapist said, just don’t fight it.

Miami’s population is almost 500k

A total of 37,239 cast in a city the size of Miami. Unbelievable.

The Trump administration and American First stuff has always been an impediment to the inevitable fall, and not a fix. Don’t get me wrong, I’m good with fighting the good fight, but I don’t think we can avoid it, either.

Midterms will be a bloodbath
Oh for fricks sake.
Only 36K people voted. And for all the “But muh Cubans”, the fact is that Miami has been steadily colonized by retired New York Jews for years, and that will only accelerate now that the Big Apple is going to shite again.
It sucks, but Demographics is destiny, and Cubans are shrinking as a percentage of the population. Its a miracle we held on there so long.

Now compare that to total population growth, which is by far from New York and surrounding states.
The cities are theirs. The rest is ours. As I said before, its a miracle the GOP held Miami as long as they did. If Houston and Dallas and Nashville fell to Democrats, what made you think Miami would be immune?

Yup just like Europe. I think its an inevitability.
We sailed the ship on that awhile back after 9/11. (Id even by arguments for earlier than that...pretty much after Eisenhower pointed out issues with the surveillance/military-industrial state )

Good grief! Miami-Dade’s population is way north of 3,000,000 people. And, the mayor is the head of that entire consolidated governmental entity.
EDIT: Oh, and the fact that this particular Democrat outpolled this particular Republican in Miami absolutely amazes me. Doesn’t look good for 2026.

Not one person I know or interact with has anything to say about the tariffs one way or another.
Without a doubt, the Democrats pulled off another stolen election. You’ll hear about it later, but it’ll be too late and nothing will happen to anybody.
This is going to continue until people start going to prison and until then these people are democrat heroes.
