Probably won’t happen.

If we were on the path of you not being able to buy a gas powered truck your vehicle may have actually appreciated.

I doubt it does that now.

During Covid there was a premium on used vehicles. Because the supply was low.

Ask it another way

If tariffs are so bad why did other countries put them on US goods in the first place?

And show me a country that tariffs are being placed that didn't already have tariffs against us

Car prices have gone up something like 50% since 2019.

Are you a retard?

I'd gladly pay more for a car if it means watching the president take a blowtorch to these people.

If car prices go any higher, they will go bankrupt because nobody will be able to afford them!!

A Porsche 911 Carrera GTS today will cost you roughly $250,000 plus, it has gone up roughly $80,000 in less than 8 years!

That’s insanity

Im enjoying the stock market dive. Good opportunity to buy. I hope he keeps these tariffs going for a while so that I can continue to buy low.

For that matter if tariffs are economy killers then WHY do all these countries have them on our goods causing us to run trade deficits with them to begin with?

car market

It’s about time, an artificially inflated market attached to negative consumer activity needs to be rebalanced…I welcome it returning to a normal, efficient piece of the economy.

Sorry if someone’s gravy train is over, there will be opportunity else where.

Good. The prices are too damn high.

The CAFE standards have got to be abolished or at least seriously overhauled.

Pressure from automakers will only come when they are over a barrel and can’t expect the feds to bail them out (again).

The paint on these things

Fade is an understatement. The shite falls off..

I buy these things for $7k from the company my mom works for. They sell their fleet of work truck every 3 years and I scoop them up when I need. They come with about 40k miles on them and in great shape. Then I sell them after I cross 100k miles or so.

If I could squeeze another couple grand by waiting, I’ll do it. If not, I’ll just get whatever I can for this one now.

The media spins it that car prices may go up. Fear mongers. Everything they say ends up not happening.

Might as well. Large financial firms don't have to worry about bad credit risks because they fold the junk loans into securities and sell that shite to pension plans.
