That is BS.
How is that BS? Did you not watch the interviews? Did you not look at campaign finance records? I did. He supported each equally and did not endorse either.

I'm not an Edwards supporter by any means, but I'm a realist. Edwards wont leave TPSO until he decides to retire.
He may not have a choice. Let's see what comes out of the FBI investigation. Generally when the FBI seizes physical records and your home and work computers it never ends well for you.

Why?
Look at all the issues he has had with running PPD with his CC scandals, and other issues. He may be ok at running a small department, but he doesn't have the ability to run a large department such as TPSO.
It also does not help him that each and every time he has an issue, his brother comes out with ridiculous responses.

They never seized his home computers. If the FBI had anything, it would have come out by now. This investigation has been going on for a very long time. All it was and is about is Chad Scott and his band of dirty agents trying anything to save their asses.

Daniel supported both candidates equally, he even stated he would not endorse either candidate, and contributed the same amount of money to both campaigns.

Give me a break. After Miller got caught stealing Microsoft operating systems and agreed to get out of that particular business he worked around the Parish doing a little support work here and there. When Daniel got elected he made him the IT support vendor for the entire Sheriff's office and then encouraged him to get into politics.
I thought everybody knew that.

They absolutely think voters are complete idiots
Well of course they are.
They're the same people who went against their own policy beliefs and put a tax and spend liberal in office just because they got pissed over Vitter hurting their fee fees and trashing Dardenne and Angelle as the opportunist scum they really are.

Burgess
Not necessarily an Edwards or a Miller ally. Burgess preferred Miller over the other guy but he was not a big force behind Miller.
Burgess was the most honest politician I have every observed and I wish he was parish president today.

He may have been honest. But dude he had been in office since 1982. It was way past time for new blood.

Landry deserves a lot of credit for standing between JBE and his proposed class action suit against the oil companies
He really does.
That bullshite lawsuit would all but drive the oil industry out of Louisiana and we'll be lucky to keep a refinery or two.

The republicans need somebody besides Landry or Kennedy to beat him. (Landry deserves a lot of credit for standing between JBE and his proposed class action suit against the oil companies.)
Scalise would stomp him.
Ralph Abraham up in North Louisiana has actually been making a decent amount of noise.
Have you noticed that the usual suspects has been attacking him?
JBE's press shop, the Louisiana democrat party and GumboPac recently attacked him for coming home during the recent shutdown and called him out of touch. He was actually attending his father in law's funeral.
They see him as a threat.

There was never a settlement, March 28, 2001 Chief Judge Frank J. Polozola issued notices to both sides ordering a dismissal with prejudice each side paying their own court costs and attorneys.
I know all about Mosiac Technologies. He ran TPSO fairly well with he budget provided for Technology.

Burgess helped Milled over the North end up, and yes Burgess despised Carlos.

Why??
He ran a tight ship and kept the budget under control. He never raised a tax.
He didn't even sign up for the retirement plan.
I would take him on his death bed over Miller.

What scandal? He had some unauthorized expenses on his city CC. I don't exactly call that a scandal. I think he has been a good chief. Better than anyone we have had in memory. If I were him I wouldn't want the headaches of being Sheriff. He actually has it made now.

I guess you didn't read the lawsuit either. He never agreed to stop selling computers. He kept selling after the lawsuit. He even sold products to TPSO and other government agencies.
Microsoft was pissed people found a loop hole in their software licensing and exploited it, they sued several small businesses doing the same thing, and in each one, Judges threw their cases out.
