Iraq was completely decimated. It's hard to have a democratic state when you don't have a state to begin with. Clinton and Bush ruined any chance of Iraq being a decent country with their bullshite.

It’s sad how that proud civilization has been buried and wasted by that miserable medieval savage religion. Maybe one day the people can unshackle themselves but it won’t be due to Israeli bombs.

Well, we (the US) has been in contact, trying to get them to come back to the negotiating table. Trump seems to have implied we are still reaching out to them... someone over there.
If the ayatollah is indeed dead, here's what to watch for: Iran doesn't respond to an Israeli strike by launching another round of missiles, but instead with a message to meet for a diplomatic conversation. Find out who puts that call out, and determine how much power they have... they'd clearly have enough to stop shooting back.
Sit down with this guy, and figure out if you can work with him, or if he needs to be erased too (just being objective here). If you can work with him, you lay it out for what needs to happen.
