Help me understand something here.
So this woman is claiming that she was at a department store in the middle of the day in NYC and Donald Trump (during his prime years) barged into her dressing room and started raping her. He just pulled his ding dong out and went to town on here int he middle of the day at a department store.
I don't even think Hunter Biden would have done something like that.
I hope he sues the living shite out of this woman

What everyone is not talking about is the way this lawsuit was handled by defense counsel. The burden of proof in a civil case is on the plaintiff just as it is on a state prosecutor in a criminal trial. However, in a civil matter it is not guilt beyond a reasonable doubt as in a criminal prosecution, but it is proof by a preponderance of the evidence. The jury weighs the testimony, evidence, the demeanor of the witnesses, the arguments of counsel and the instructions of the judge in reaching its verdict supported by a “preponderance” (in their subjective view) of the evidence. In this case, Carroll’s testimony, the testimony of her two friends that she told of the attack contemporaneous with the alleged event, and other evidence submitted went unrebutted by defense counsel’s case presentation except to let her client claim the plaintiff was a lunatic and not his type. Zero countervailing evidence. Frankly, given the trial court record, the standards for appellate review and the tarnished record of defense counsel, I do not see this case getting reversed. There’s a possibility that the quantum award for damages may be reduced, but most of that is a separate award for defamation after the trial on sexual assault.
It’s a lot simpler than all of this. They were always going to find trump liable.

Exactly the response we have come to expect from the principled TD attorney.
You know what happened and we know what happened. If you cannot admit what happened then shame on you and your integrity.
That clear it up?

It's a go to response for when people make shite up, yes.

No, I don't know it happened. Not how you described.

This sounds particularly like the "Common sense" crutch people fall back onto when they can't rely or facts or logic, or, most commonly, their "facts" are proven false. A great example is the "crime is so bad today" arguments from people who grew up during Hell on Earth in America (1975-1995) and think it was safe then.

She seemed to have some type of mental illness and was used to charge Trump with something. Nothing made sense about that case.

That, of course, may very well be true. However, a good aggressive defense that involved something other than name calling might have benefited him through the appellate system. It was self-inflicted and he should have hired a smart Wall Street insurance defense attorney instead of a chick with nice tits and a flexible attitude to ethics in the practice of law and no idea how to defend this type of lawsuit.

It was terribly odd... even her "supporters" in interviews were visibly uncomfortable with her.

The only fingering done to her is by the DOJ!
