No he didn’t, but the media gawked over him doing it. That’s the difference with it this time around. The media is pushing the narrative that it’s Trumps fault while it has been vandalized and downplayed. When idiots a pulling for team algae, you know there is a narrative being pushed because it’s supposed to make Trump bad. The man has to deal with this for EVERYTHING. No need for that. Want to say today TMZ? or some other outlet actually said it looked great but that was an outlier. Then again, it must be time for a new news cycle.

What world do you guys live in?

Where is the video? I've seen every thread on it and haven't seen it.
It's peeling. Blame the contractor.

Oh hell no newb. You had to spell it wrong because I've used this name over 15 years.
Not cool.

Tbf. Obama did not make a grand production out of it either. It kind of just was done. How many press conferences has Trump done on the pool? He more so adopted it.

Obviously they don’t need something as resilient as bed liner.

Huh??!! Is your truck bed in continual
Immersion service? Is there the possibility of chemical exposure in your truck bed?

I owned a company that sprays that exact liner. It bonds like you wouldn't believe. Nothing short of outside influence will get it off concrete.
Only a fricking clown would even entertain the idea it came up naturally. Especially knowing, if under water, there's more pressure pushing down than up

AI can lie severely and implicate the wrong player.

Whatever, Trump's interference in the earlier conformation of the reflecting pool likely contaminated it and permitted the growth of Spyrogyra, the familiar scum-forming algae.

I can’t believe that the reflecting pool is the biggest topic in American politics right now. It’s actually insane. Trump cleaned it up and made it look better. Why is this an issue? Insanity

Are you suggesting they sprayed the Pipeliner 5000 onto the concrete?

The reactions from the Dems are due to Trump saying it would be impossible to cut.

Once the chemical liner is applied and cured, can anyone just reach down and pull up sheets of it?

Do you think the issue is a failure of adhesion?

Do you think the primary issue of this discussion is the video evidence claim or the vandalism of the pool?

The primary issue is not “vandalism of the pool”…

It’s whether there is evidence of the claim that vandals caused the giant cuts in the pool.

The kid who stole a candy bar from a convenience store gets charged with the petty theft. But he doesn’t get thrown in jail for arson unless there is evidence of arson.

Something tells me this whole thing is an odd attempt to distract us

This is one of the most obvious locations in DC yet there is no video of the crime of destruction of federal property.

I can’t believe people just believe it because Trump says it happened.
