I'd like to separate the rest of the US from every state on the East Coast starting with VA all the way to Maine. They are fricking lunatics.

Hell, I couldn't understand a word of it. I'm kind of happy about that, too.

The Rhode Island Senate has 38 members: 34 Democrats and 4 Republicans.
The Rhode Island House has 75 members: 65 Democrats, 9 Republicans, and 1 independent who votes with the Democrats.
It’s essentially a one party state.

How did the northeast and west coast get this crazy? Serious question.
I understand Democrat politics and machines being powerful in that area for decades, but how do they still support Democrats with the policies they now promote?
Is it the frog analogy of the the water pot on the stove that slowly heats up until it’s boiled alive?
Or a people would rather continue to play the fool rather than admit they were ever fooled?
I just don’t get it. Eventually a generation has to stand up to the idiocy of their state or region. And that’s with the full understanding of Louisiana politics.

Holy crap. I thought it was bad out here. Sacramento has nothing on that.

I had cousins grow up in that state and they were strange as children. I can't imagine how looney they are now. We don't speak.

Anyone who would have fought back and had the means left. Others died off.
Back-fill with replacement immigrants.
Does that clear it up?
On the local level, it's what is happening with public schools. The crazier policies get crazier. Parents that care leave. It just circles down the drain. There is no one left to push back.

Both of them know the Democrat way of arguing. Verbally steamroll over anybody else trying to get a word in.
Both of them practicing it the whole time.
