Tell us your understanding of how tariffs work and what they are for and what they are intended to do.

You've stated your point... and done literally NOTHING to back up your point with actual facts. Just spewed cowardly insults. You certainly seem quite bright.

I hate to break it to you, but this isn’t going to end well…
If it doesn't end well the next guy can just change it. But I doubt they will. Biden held on to the Trump tariffs from Trump's first term.

It is one tool that is available,” he said. “You’re looking at somebody, by the way, who helped lead the effort against permanent normal trade relations with China and (North American Free Trade Agreement).”
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said he would use tariffs as a negotiating tool if he wins the White House

Congratulations on perhaps the most tone deaf post of the year.

Who do you think would have better overall policies for this country over the next four years? Trump or the Democrats / Kamala? Let us know.

Buddy, nobody in this administration even listens to people WITH economics degrees.
Howard Lutnick, Trump’s Secretary of Commerce, has a degree in Economics from Haverford College.
That was easy. Dumbass.

It’s ok to be passionate about sincerely held beliefs, but when those “beliefs” are based on literally zero information other than social media posts, it’s obvious to informed folks…
Okayy...

EX: “Tariffs are good”. Yes, in 1885, they were good…but you’re wrong because you don’t know shite.
And you lost the thread...
Your ONE example is something you got off of social media.
Firstly, if tariffs are terrible, why does most of the world use them?
The reciprocal part means that others are tariffing us first.
Secondly it depends, if in the end other countries bring theirs down, that's good.
If companies onshore and create new American jobs, that's good.
Could also cause pain.
Lotta ifs for such a foolish response for the same thing as you accused others.
