DSA Co-Chair Megan Romer did Americans a favor by saying the quiet part out loud.
“We will win by making conditions so intolerable to the ruling class that they would rather give in to our demands than live with the disturbance we cause,” Romer said. “Until we are able to fully seize power ourselves.”
Read those words again.
This is not a call to persuade voters, win honest debates, or pass legislation through the normal democratic process. It is a declaration that socialists intend to deliberately make life intolerable until people surrender to their demands.
That is what socialists do.
They create disruption, resentment, fear, and economic pain, then present themselves as the solution to the misery they helped produce. The objective is not peaceful coexistence. The objective is power.
Americans should take this threat seriously.

It’s all been done before.
This isn’t a new tactic. Because a great percentage of Americans are ignorant of history-the color revolution, the Bolshevik revolution, Cuban revolution, socialism,
communism,etc.. it’s going to gain a foothold in the US via our own useful idiot population.
Far too many that do understand history have been disregarding this movement for decades. The chickens are coming home to roost.
We in it now.

Welcome to the Progressives. This is why I get so mad when I see the term Progressive used so generally to describe someone who is a little ultra liberal .

What people fail to realize is that these riotous protests are NOT protected by the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights ensures that we have the freedom to peaceably assemble for a redress of grievances. The protests and public disturbances that she intends to use to get her way are not protected speech.
Maybe a few of these folks need to spend some time in the pokey doing a little reflection and taking a deep dive into studying what liberties they have versus what liberties they believe they have.

If the head of the Republican party said those words, our "news media" would beat a path to their door. This chair of a new and rising left wing party says it, and nobody ever hears the words read to them on the ABC evening news, much less followed by hard questions as to what they mean. Who, exactly, is the ruling class and how will you make their lives intolerable? What, exactly, are your "demands"?
