Your analogy is more appropriate to the Trump campaign than the DNC, seeing how there was a concerted effort to spy on his associates, create fake opposition research through the use of foreign actors and then use said fake documents to appoint someone to comb through his entire business and personal history looking for a crime. And y'all cheered the entire time these fascistic-style tactics were used.

And let’s not forget that the Awans were acting as the DNC head’s IT guys at the time either.
