So the DNC is broke, they are doing this to get money. Jill Stein raised $7.33 million with her recount resisting.

Well, considering the Democrats destroyed any evidence that could show exactly what happened to their servers or podesta, this is going to be a very difficult case for them to prove. The defendants may very well be able to get this dismissed for spoliation.

This is just another way to keep muh Russians in the news cycle through the midterm elections. The Mueller investigation has jumped the shark looking into payments to porn stars, so the writing is on the wall that it won’t be allowed to continue much longer.
This lawsuit will continue to give every news channel a reason to talk about “Russian collusion” every day. I think that is their main goal

Eh, a lawsuit such as this might force additional information to come to light prior to the manafort trial, or guilty pleas. This information might be useful for the mid-terms.

That is one interpretation.
This could be desperation, or a great strategic move. Or something in the middle. My inclination is that its a bad move but I possess incomplete information on the topic. The DNC likely chewed on this for a while, and have a goal for it. They also selected the timing.
eta: this could be to keep things rolling if Mueller is fired. Or potentially to spike potential presidential pardons.

Correct. This is their plan to keep muh Russians alive. In court, they can keep it going forever and the media will talk about it daily.

Let's never forget that we learned a lot of valuable things about DNC/Hillary corruption through WikiLeaks. They did the job our corrupt State media refused to do. And that's a profound indictment of where things stand in this country right now.
