I know that. Everyone knows that.

Also is seemed like he implied that China and Russia are willing to resupply Iran because they have the manufacturing technology and capacity.

They haven't signaled they are willing to do that from what ive seen. They may be "willing" but how could they actually do it?

He and Ritter are delusional. I don’t know what their exact angle is but they aren’t worth paying attention to. Kiriakou also sort of exposed himself when he was talking about “Hypersonic” missiles as if they are something we don’t know how to defend against

The imbecile reported US regional bases have been "destroyed." Based on that alone, he should NEVER be called to report as an "expert" again. Shame on Gaetz for even giving him a voice.

Putin is loving this war. He's making backdoor oil deals with China.

I'm not sure about that. Iran has been a huge supplier of military hardware to Russia for use in Ukraine. No doubt he will get satisfaction if things start to go south in Iran, but the loss of a military supplier of Iran's importance can't be good for Russia in the near term.

To be fair, Russia is not just fighting Ukraine

It is very much a small regional war and Russia is hiring hired guns because they have by and large stalemated

How exactly do you propose China get anything into Iran? Irans airspace is controlled by allies as is their coastlines.

Russia is using their missiles as fast as they can produce them, they are not going to start shorting their own military needs for the sake of Iran

China is much more risk averse than Russia or Iran. If they started supplying Iran with missiles, we could easily choke off their oil imports, and restart the trade war. They wont risk their economy over Iran

McGregor and Scott Ritter are wrong about 70% of the time. Both said Ukraine would completely collapse by late 2023.

John Mearsheimer is a better listen then those two. Mearsheimer's point is Iran could never stand on equal footing with Israel/US armed forces. Nobody could possibly debate that. Hell, they have zero naval firepower or little, if any, air defense.

But, now what, when has non stop bombing ever turned over a regime? We're putting our chips in on the Kurds and Azerbajani's for a ground force against the IRGC.

MacGregor is a nutjob

He went on OAN and said we were losing and lost most of our bases

Embracing MacGregor is an admission that you're ok with being lied to

First time I heard him he seemed like a rational guy.

Then I noticed he made the rounds on a ton of podcasts within a short time and figured he’s just another grifter.

I’m not sure if it’s true or not but I’ve heard that he’s got Russian funding for some of his stuff. I’m not in the camp that thinks Russia is the root of all evil but it still doesn’t reflect well on his objectivity

He’s been doing interviews for years. The YouTube algorithm just now brought him into the spotlight. He has a fascinating story.

It’s not out of the ordinary for Russian state media to seek out people like him. Polarizing/controversial figure in the U.S. who has been critical of his own government. His employment opportunities shrunk after he blew the whistle and spent time in prison. A Russian state media funded radio station offered him a gig after prison. Easy propaganda to push to the Russian people.
