The people who would be influenced by this are the same people Texas doesn’t want.

Win-win.

Californians ruin every single place they invade. They are a cancer.

I'm going to LOL if at the end of this we find out some politician/businessman in a Texas county, not named Travis, actually payed for this.

If that turns out to be the case... he'll be a hero (except in Travis Co.)

Jesus that's awful. That's almost like making a billboard saying don't move to California since that Asian man shot up people in a Church in Cali right before Uvalde happened.

We didn't hear about that one more than 1 day because... he wasn't a white male.

Imagine a billboard, anywhere, saying "Don't move to Chicago" and it had a black teenager with a hoodie and sunglasses.

That billboard would make me want to move even more. Do they really think scare tactics will work?

Good. Most people who live in California should stay there.

100pct stay the heck away from Texas. Do not need the California negativity there.

I'd assume Texans put it up to keep San Fran scum from moving there.

One theory states that the ad may have come from right-leaning Texans eager to keep liberal Californians away from their voting booths. Others thought that the message may have come from Californians in an attempt to slow an "exodus" to Texas.

Either way, it's brilliant. If the former is true then it's a re-phrasing of "Don't California my Texas" (ie: keep your stupid liberal ideas in the state those ideas have already trashed), if the latter it's a blatantly desperate attempt to stop the hemorrhaging of tax-payers from California to Texas.

I believe this 100% and I don't blame the Texans. Californians suck just as much as New Yorkers.

Wrong. It was just a joke, but when you live in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio etc you forget about all the open space and places like Quanah or Van Horn. Houston and Dallas are so awful because they’re both becoming Los Angeles.
