From WaPo. Not to mention the president himself and several others.

I hope it is from a $25 million dollar hedge fund.

You mean WaPo stating the existence of a WSJ Op-Ed?

The big issue is state sales tax.
Congress should have fixed this a LONG time ago but didn't want to look pro-tax.
So Amazon could sell something tax free. Now technically the buyer had to report and remit the sales tax owed on that purchase to their state and local revenue department, but that almost never happened.
So that created an unequal playing field between online retailers and brick and mortar stores.
Some of that has been slowly, awkwardly fixed. But really Congress needs to step in and fix the system.

I could write the same article about any big business.
End corporate taxes. Period. Make the tax code simpler.

Here is a long Newsweek article on Amazon's tax breaks and tax paying strategies. Nothing illegal however it does make them anti-competitive because the little guys can't make the same business moves. LINK
Why do you hate capitalism?

What are you confused about

Big stick coming out for the WAPO man....

You said Amazon hasn’t paid any federal income tax. I made the point that GE and Exxon were in the same bucket last year. You then spun off into talking about Bezos taxes.

This thread has revealed lots of hypocrisy by this board related to business and taxation.

Ahhh so obviously the answer to crony capitalism is more crony capitalism. Brilliant!
Where did you see that mentioned? I don't see that called out anywhere. It appears to me that Trump plans to remove regulations and breaks that are benefiting amazon and not smaller shops.
