You could make this same statement about a number of companies.

Yet Amazon only controls like 10% of the whole retail market in the United States. Walmart alone has like 3x the revenue of Amazon and has a much smaller global footprint.

However, it is also true that Trump himself (and plenty of prominent Democrats by the way) used the exact same tax loophole to carry over losses from previous years to offset their taxes. I see the value of the deduction, but it should only be valid for so many years.
Man, Amazon carried losses for so many years that I just can't get on board with that thinking for them. Wasn't 2016 the first year they actually turned a profit?
The deduction is a hell of a way to encourage investment and growth, and Amazon is a prime example of it.

That and the post office canard, which I expect he learned where he gets a lot of his misinformation, Fox and Friends.
Which canard is that, or did you just want to gripe about Fox?

The one mentioned in the article, the one the OP quoted, non-reader.

Just googled it. It appears I was right that he got his Fake News from Fox and Friends.

Now that Rex is out, maybe Trump will also go after Exxon for paying no taxes last year.

Alexa, Please impeach Donald Trump.

I’m a heavy Amazon user, but apparently they’ve been getting a cheap/free ride at the expense of taxpayers via USPS.
Prime members are still paying for shipping, just with tax dollars as opposed to paying amazon directly.
