I love DeSantis and hope he is chosen for VP so that we can have him 2028-2036 BUT don’t be fooled and manipulated bc DeSantis will be vilified as well. Right now, the deep state is terrified of Trump being the next candidate.

Of course he'll be villified. Difference is, his response will be measured, on-point, and epic, not cringeworthy.

Agree 100%. The issue is, to whom will that matter if most people get their information directly from the press who vilified him in the first place, and will silence as much as possible any solid response to their bullshite?

News Flash!!
Unfortunately, people vote for who they like(in this case, or against who they despise)other than who they are most aligned with. It's short-sighted, stupid and irrational, BUT it's true!
Exactly!

The electorate of this country are by and large a bunch of ignorant, uninformed fools who only vote by party, or by their feelings. Trump can have the best policies in the world and they still will judge him on his tweets and past marital behavior. They don’t care about policies, they’re morons. They care about personality, and he rubs them wrong.

His negative numbers are just too great to overcome, despite the fact of how effective he was as president.

Bottom line, DeSantis is a slam dunk to win, and Trump is not.

Not true. Know a few, including me, that won't vote for DeSantis.

Then you're an idiot.

Not saying I don't like him...I just don't know where he stands on a lot of issues. Is he 100% America First?

Lot of you have DeSantis boners because he said some witty shite to "journalists". Going to take a lot more than that to get my vote.

The reason people like DeSantis is because of how well he handled the last year and a half despite relentless negative media coverage and pressure from Mr. Potato Head and the Vice Prostitute.

DeSantis cleaned up the South Florida voter fraud garbage. Florida's vote counting was done much earlier in 2020 than it ever was before because he fired some of the Dade County fraud perpetrators.

DeSantis watched the rioting, looting, and burning in other cities around the country and made damn sure that shite wouldn't happen here.

He's the only politician fighting for the people he governs. He is making mask and vaccine mandates illegal. He's trying to flush out all of the garbage from the teacher's unions.

While other states had draconian lockdowns, Florida was pretty much fully reopened by June 2020.

Living in Florida in 2020 and 2021 has been a godsend, and his policies are a large reason why.

Trump made some mistakes (not firing Obama appointed senior military leadership, shitty SCOTUS picks, not labeling BLM a terrorist organization), but I like him a lot and thought his policies were fantastic. I also think DeSantis would have a better chance to win. I would line up early in the morning at the poll to vote for either Trump or DeSantis.

I like Trump but he has too much baggage.

They will attack Desantis too but he is a much better politician, which IS a good thing whether you want to admit it or not.

I will vote for Trump if he's the nominee.

But Desantis SHOULD get the nomination.

However, anyone (ANYONE) that the Republicans put forth as a candidate will be SAVAGELY attacked by the Left. That is their "go to" tactic (McCain and Romney should have taught us that). The Progressive Left are evil and desire nothing more than power at any cost.
This is a true, but as you’ve seen, DeSantis can handle the press better than Trump did. He literally embarrasses them when they try a “gotcha” question.

I'll gladly campaign and vote for either Trump or DeSantis.

You have to be an idiot to not run to the polls and vote for either one of these guys simply to keep the crazies out of the White House.

You know what you are getting with Democrats, a shite show.

You know what you are getting with Trump. He's already showed you. What people hate most about Trump is his tweets. The good news for people that hate his tweets, he's kicked off of Twitter. I can handle his tweets because I focus more on substance. I like his policies.

You know what you are getting with DeSantis. See Florida.

I was talking about a hypothetical primary between Trump v DeSantis, you slut. I would vote Trump

Now, if it's DeSantis v Camela...of course I'm voting for DeSantis. Who in their right mind wouldn't?

But, if DeSantis isn't aboard the America First agenda and he turns out to be a RINO loving fig, then I will be writing in Trump.

1) All Trump voters will vote for DeSantis. Not all DeSantis voters will vote for Trump.

2) Trump is old, DeSantis is young.

3) No one is going to come out and explicitly vote against DeSantis and not consider what they’re voting for. People did that with Trump and couldn’t answer why they were specifically voting for Biden that didn’t involve Donald Trump. The only people that voted FOR that ticket were the “Slay Queen” Karen retards who love Kamala, but they’re a complete lost cause.

4) Hatred for Trump will drive far greater democrat turn out than DeSantis would. A lot of people that normally sit out elections turned out just to vote against Trump not for Biden. These people stay home if DeSantis is the nominee.

I don't care how great DeSantis is for Florida he was funded by the GOPe treasure chest & !Jeb! and would be controlled by the swamp. They would Dubya him=attack him but never impeach him. As he made immigration and U.N. weak sauce speeches.

I do like DeSantis, he is a great governor and needs to help Fla another term; but we need another billionaire that can't be bought.

Trump Junior, Peter Thiel, Hershel Walker?

Trump's age worries me. He should be the convention headliner speech and highly respected leader of the party and fire Ronna Rpmney.

Also, stop being a Trump fanatic. It's quite possible to be equally pleased with Trump and Desantis without getting offended if one is praised over the other. A common them i see from fanatical Trump followers is "well Desantis must be a democrat plant and just acting this way to get the nomination". DeSantis has an incredible track record so far. If everything he is doing is just to edge out Trump, and he's a RINO or Democrat in hiding, then this is the longest con of all cons. In reality, you are a sycophant who needs to step away from politics and examine you life when you worship ANY politician.

Yeah, people have turned Trump into their God. Some people say he ripped into Big Tech, but he really didn’t at all. Sure he talked a big game off of Twitter, but he ended up wining and dining Mark Zuckerberg. DeSantis on the other hand is enacting laws ripping into them. He’s the real deal.

DeSantis is doing that as we speak. Trump let his crocodile mouth overload his jaybird arse. He wined and dined Zuckerberg, so no. Trump had that opportunity and didn’t take it.

In my opinion, yes. However, the sheer volume of attacks from the Left (and the enabling media) can be overwhelming. I am confident that he can weather the storm and (quite frankly) is a better choice because of his age.

But I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee in 2024 (will vote DeSantis in the primary though).

DeSantis’ wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer. If he gets the nomination, this will be used against him to paint it as a distraction. If you doubt this, you don’t know the enemy well at all.

They would be that stupid to paint that burn to be pitted vs the incumbent's dementia and irreversible cluelessness.
