I know she was 80 but man she seemed like she was going to be another one who made it 100.

She will be missed, a genuinely good person!!!

I'll never forget her first appearance on the Tonight Show, Johnny Carson remarked that he'd give a year's pay to see what was under her shirt!

At that point in the 1970's Carson was making over $12 million a year and was the highest paid person on television.

Well POTUS just declared the flag to be at half-staff for a week starting tonight in Dolly’s honor.

She was largely apolitical spending her money on helping people. God bless her and she now sings with Angels.

Kindly frick off, Dolly transcended politics and race. Everyone loves her.

I hope her Imagination Library continues on. For anyone out there that has kids under 5, I would highly highly suggest signing them up. Over the life of the program they've given away millions of quality books, my sons little library of IL books is awesome. Tons of memories brought back from books that were around when some of us were kids too.

RIP Dolly. Truly a one of a kind legend.

What a shock... I liked her..

My favorite story about Dolly is she entered a Dolly look-a-like contest and lost.. Of course no one realized it was her...

She is one of like a handful of people in American life who is pretty well liked and well thought of by people all across the political spectrum. I am trying to think of another and no one immediately comes to mind.

RIP, Dolly.

On the subject of politics, her sister sure is a piece of work.
