This is why I have no patience for the whole, "Well they ought to be," act. Well, why weren't they? Every tool available to law enforcement to find J6 people was available several months before. We could have been rounding up idiots all summer and fall long.

Hell, it's my belief that the total LACK of any of that was precisely WHY people behaved the way they did at the Capitol. Why wouldn't they think they could get away from a little rioting? They had seen months and months of it, going so far as nightly firebombing a Federal Courthouse and LITERALLY taking over several blocks of an American city with virtually no arrests or national outrage.

Instead, they're suddenly called terrorists and hunted down across the country years later.

Reports vary but they say between 10,000 - 17,000 people were arrested in the riots following George Floyd's death.

I will never cheer or support unequal treatment by the law. I never supported defunding the police and I said many times on this board that all of the people breaking the law during the summer of 2020 deserved to be arrested and prosecuted.

You're doing it now. If unequal treatment was truly a concern you'd want most of those people released with charges dropped, and you damn sure wouldn't think it was funny.

So the accusation against you stands

That's not at all what I am doing now. I'm not going to say - ok everyone on the right can break the law all they want now because the left already did it.

It's exactly what you're doing now.

Small town has biker weekend. Lots of white people on Harleys, speeding up and down the street for 4 days. Bar fights, riding while drunk, police chief might occasionally arrest someone but he drops the charges after they sleep it off. Of the few arrests that are made only a handful face any charges.

Next year black bikers decide to come. When they go 1 mph over the limit they get speeding tickets. Fire marshal ruthlessly enforces max capacity signs, bar fights and DUIs are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Some of them they just hold in jail for a year or so while they wait on their trial, and even on the shaky cases they throw everything against the wall because they know that the process can be the punishment even if a jury allows them to walk.

You are cheering the police chief in the second situation, hiding behind "well, they broke the law, and I wanted those white guys prosecuted too but they weren't but I can't help that".

This stuff isn't happening in a vacuum, and while I suspect you're smart enough to realize that you're not honest enough to admit it.

Only a crime when people right of center break the law.

They should have burned the place to the ground where it belongs - I wish they had known what was coming so they would have been more motivated to finish the job

The same people who rioted in 2020 wanted normal Americans locked up for having BBQ's during Covid. But riots for BLM were exempt of course. Then those who did objectively less damage on January 6th were held without bail while the VP you voted for actively tweeted links to bail out the BLM rioters. You're part of the problem and your protestations about "fairness" and "equality" are empty and worthless.

How many people entered the capitol?

They're going to cross-check cell phone pings within a mile of the Capitol with anyone who's ever posted anything pro-Trump on Facebook and prosecute them.

Watching people openly cheer unequal application of the law is one of the more disgusting aspects of this entire episode. frick you and people like you.

Same people thought it was fine to protest by the thousands and cheer on burning cities and businesses during covid but wanted you arrested and in jail if you walked in a store without a mask. These are the type of people you are dealing with.

Those were protestors, silly, not rioters. The left protests, the right can only riot and participate in "insurrections".

You are just fine with it though. Because your switch isn’t flipped by your programming.

Millions of illegals breaking the law.. silence.

Catch and release criminals… silence.

Ray Epps on actual video instigating the crowd on J6 with zero repercussions… silence.

Federal building attacked in Portland.. silence.

Direct threats on Supreme Court justices.. silence.

Tens of thousands dying because of fentanyl overdoses from cross border drugs… silence.

Group of vagrants taking over city blocks in Portland and blocking it off (an actual insurrection)… silence.

People outside the capitol… crying blood and pulling your hair out by the roots.

It’s amazing how all of you are just flipped from complicit to hysterical by direct instruction. No pushback. You just serve your masters lock step. And do it for free.
