How many posters appreciated the simple humor in the many memes floating around in the Great Meme Wars of 2016, and reposted them to Twitter, Facebook, etc.?

I don't know if it's been discussed at length here or not, but how does something that, in essence, is a joke pointing out the stupidity of people suddenly become an illegal act?

This dude gets arrested because a couple thousand people texted to a number. How does this possibly get proven to be voted stealing? How is this NOT a free speech issue?

The effect of a conviction is chilling for free speech Will everyone who reposted those memes because of the humor suddenly be under investigation from the demands of the totalitarians running the federal government? Dark days ahead. There are people in power who want to punish conservatives.

Here's what got him arrested.

From the article itself...

quote:

At the time, MIT Media Lab listed the anonymous personality as one of the top 150 influencers of the 2016 presidential election, placing him ahead of NBC News, Stephen Colbert, and Newt Gingrich.

It’s obvious to anyone with a brain that the media plays favorites.... but they were in such a hurry to run with this they forgot to realize they were admitting media plays favorites (influences) elections.

Can I set up my own polling center and make it look all official and have folks come in an vote on machines that aren’t connected to anything?

I get your concern about memes, but where is the line here?

Sure.... when anyone asks about it you remove them from the area and call them conspiracy theorists. Easy pleasy.

The line is the part where you expect people to inform themselves and be adults. If they can't or won't? frick em. There are many, many avenues for finding out how to vote properly, without blindly believing some random arse picture on the internet or anonymous text that just shows up on your phone.

Now frick off and be an adult that doesn't rely on the government and media to tell you how to think.
