Iran has used the threat of closure as leverage many times over roughly 40–50 years, especially when facing sanctions, military pressure, or oil-export restrictions. Major documented periods include:
1980s (Iran-Iraq War era)
2008
2011–2012 (nuclear sanctions crisis)
2018–2019 (after U.S. withdrawal from the nuclear deal)
June 2025 (parliament vote during a short Israel-Iran clash)
2025 was lower by .20 per gallon. Try again.
This is how I know I am on the right side of things.

this the answer when we stopped bombing it gave them time to regroup and get resupplied with weapons and start defending coordinated attacks.

Whoever has the Presidents ear has been wrong all along. They didnt know these people. They have been fooling us for 47 years and we let them with our thinking diplomacy would work.
These people think dying for Allah gets them 47 virgins in whatever their afterlife is.
