I guess it all depends on how far along you think Iran’s nuclear program was at the time we hit them.

A better question is how did Trump not understand this or how someone in his inner circle not understand this was a possible outcome?
Indeed, this question needs to be asked…
There is no way that nobody in Washington understood this. I can only imagine that the people who did understand this were sidelined

echo chamber doesn’t take alternative viewpoints very well.

This pretty much sums it up. Violence is the only language they understand.

Direct consequence of rewarding loyalty over competence. You’re right, there had to be people in the intelligence community who saw this coming and probably told him.
But Trump preferred listening to whoever told him what he wanted to hear (and Israel obviously).
It’s not hard to see how this happened.

How are people who support Trump different than those who voted for him?

Your alternative view point is bull schit. So yea, nobody is going to take you and this alter seriously.
You want a real conversation, then research what is actually happening and the known goals. Hint, if you thinks is about the strait.... you are very ignorant.

My problem with it was that a President can initiate a military action of this size without Congressional approval. He essentially declared war on Iran.
The time to kick Iran's arse was back when they stormed our Embassy. Weakling Carter could have told them you have 48 hours to deliver the hostages to wherever or you will face the full force of the American military.

Iran being able and willing to wait out Trump isn't 'propaganda'.

O, what makes you think he doesn't get that. How do you even reconcile the idea that he does not know with the fact that it's the very reason Tmp is "no nukes ever"?
Some of ya'll have a lack of sack and too much estrogen that you look like a skyscreaming dyke.

The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) recently had its bank accounts frozen by a state-owned lender due to mounting internal debts and unpaid financial obligations.

TDS is real AF, brah.
Look, I wasn't necessarily thrilled when this started... but (1) Trump NEVER said, "we will never engage in military conflict with another country, no matter what..." What he did speak out against was Bush/Cheney type wars based on lies for profit that go on for 10+ years (Iraq) and 20+ years (Afghanistan/Vietnam), full scale war with troops over seas, on the ground, and dying in combat by the thousands just so Halliburton and defense contractors (and politicians with stock in them) can get rich, which isn't what this is about; and (2) F UCK IRAN, those terrorist muslim savage pieces of shite that have killed hundreds if not thousands of Americans over the last 45+ years. The muzzie regime just slaughtered tens of thousands of its own civilians in the streets a few months ago, on top of all the other terrorist attacks and death they dole out all over the region...
I'm not going to root against my country in a conflict with those evil motherfrickers. Obama and Biden kissed their asses, paid them off, played it weak, and it only made them richer, more emboldened and carrying out more terrorist attacks, and brought them closer to nuclear weapons capability. frick IRAN and anyone rooting for them because they have terminal stage 4 TDS. Eat shite nerds.

Iran will let every citizen starve and not think twice about it. They don't care. Meanwhile, here people on this forum complain about a $20 combo from Cane's or McDonald's. So, knowing that who is better suited to wait this out? It sure as heck isn't us.

For pointing out Iran can sit this out as long as they want longer than we can? Its reality. You think Americans will tolerate more upward pressure on gasoline and cost of good and services for several more months?

They’re completely insufferable. They all think they could run the country better and it’s doubtful any of them could even run an outhouse. Now that their leader got banned, they’re all virtual executives.
You can tell when posters have never managed a F’ing thing.

Whole bunch of levers yet to be pulled. If we wanna go there that is.

Should have been done several times since November of 1979. Long overdue. It's like putting out rat bait stations after you have and infestation, we were way way behind the curve.
