They are following direct orders from their leaders.

They want violence. They want to protect violent, illegal criminals because that helps two things:

1) New voters
2) Distract from the fraud.

Money is what they want. Everyone is thinking way too deep into this. The protestors aren’t acting on moral convictions because they have no moral code. They are mercenaries getting paid to do this. It really is that simple.

They want to "matter". They want to make a difference. They want the "status" that goes along with it. Usually, in the past, this was achieved by "mattering" to your family, your church, your bowling league, etc.

These people have none of that. They've turned their back on convention completely. Those things that have normally satisfied this need, they've totally spurned.

Because of this, they are waiting to be outraged by the next "thing". This can be proven by the fact that deportations have occurred in masse for the last 20 years and they never said a word, until their "handlers" decided this was the next "thing" they should be mad at.

There are a few examples of this that all the folks cared deeply about when they were told to. These include, climate change, Gaza, Ukraine and now immigration policy in Minnesota specifically. The list goes on.

Once they have the 'cause de jour' to care about, the next thing they desire is "status". The way to prove "status" are demonstrations of Empathy up to and including violence against the offending party. Passive demonstrations of empathy generally include incessantly posting on Facebook, changing a profile picture to include the latest symbol of outrage, etc. Active demonstrations of empathy include protesting and even direct action against the offending party.

Rinse and Repeat...

This is a full blown color revolution being financed and organized by our own intelligence agencies. Immigration is just the issue they are using. If this is not neutralized it will mean dark days ahead in our future. Please pray and support our President.

This is manufactured chaos. Organized and funded. The idea is to hold America hostage until the majority yields to the minority in the hopes that the minority will start to behave.

ETA: I’ll offer a little theory I have about the psychology of these agitators. The human psyche yearns for deeper, higher purpose. We are naturally drawn to it. When we take a generation of children and rob them of faith, break up their families, tell them that their neighbors are Nazis, and bubble wrap them in a consequence-free digital prison, they don’t look for purpose in faith, family, or friendship. They find it in radical ideology.

Beyond getting paid to protest, riot and attack ICE, they are ideologically addled to the point of being dangerous to themselves and others.

I will be Honest.. It is nothing but TDS... HE can do nothing right.

My facebook has been filled with TDS haters, and they have gone bonkers... Daily they post this comparing ice to Nazis and that.. They can't see straight.

I wonder what their issue is going to be in 2028 if Vance wins or another Republican.

They don't care about the economy, Food prices, housing, foreign relations... Just hate Trump.

Wish that there was a way that we could pull voting rights by declaring some people mentally incompetent.

have no clear moral objective. It is largely radicalism for the sake of radicalism with small momentary goals (Palestine, shut down deportations, avenge black lives, etc.).

Well said!

it's hard to drive mass support and sustain something indecipherable/incoherent.

They don't need mass support; they just need to seem like they have mass support. That's where the media comes in along with the constant rotation of issues to rage against. Eventually some get tired of the perpetual cycle and start asking questions about things like end-game agendas, but they are quickly pushed to the side as fresh, new members are found and promoted for their naive energy and enthusiasm.

More democrat voters and representation by whatever means necessary. The ends justify the means. They feel they are on the moral high ground and are FAR too psycho to realize they are just thieves and fraudsters.

Do we just let all criminals walk free now because of feelings? Should a murderer or armed robber be given a free pass because they have a wife and child at home?
Isn’t that the ultimate goal? That’s what leftist judges do every day with feral career criminals who spend decades being arrested and released only to ultimately kill some poor girl on a bus or running through a park or walking home from school.
