I would guess that as part of the defense contract with Sikorsky that this info is part of an NDA.

frankly I'm not surprised at all...BUT what model Black Hawks were they? we may not have all of the facts to make an informed decision...
are these A models whose flying hour limit has been reached? are these helicopters that have been transferred to the military assistance or foreign military sales accounts? are these helicopters that will be given away as part of a drawdown?
