Black hole budgeting, apparently.

I’m sure these were purchased with some of the numerous funds not accounted for at DOD.

To even further put this into perspective.

The United States of America IS the Japanese Army.

And Air Force
AND Navy and Marines

BHP has it tucked away at his secret lab location.

there's not a database somewhere that every time a MULTIMILLION DOLLAR helicopter is completed its serial # is noted??

i mean wtf. toyota builds a zillion cars every year and knows where every last one of them was sold.

This has to be one of the few government audits in history to turn up MORE property than was expected.

Usually people don’t account for anything that breaks down, people who get transferred with equipment, etc. Or you get some a-hole selling stuff on the side.

This is the equivalent of a rich guy's wife finding a hidden path in their garden to a big car garage. Inside are a few dozen rare sports cars.

She questions her husband about it and he goes to look. Sees all of the pristine cars shining under the lights.

He says, "I really don't know whose cars these are."

Then a guy named Paul comes out the back with a buffering pad and says, "Hey. Haven't seen you all in a while!"

They question Paul about who the hell he is and he says he's the car buyer. Been buying these sports cars for the past five years.

They ask him when they hired him and he says he doesn't remember.

They check their account and see millions gone to car dealers around the world.

Then the husband and wife say, "Whatever. I don't care about any of this. Let's go to Aspen for the weekend. Bring the mistress."

I don't know why this is considered out of the ordinary. There are a couple parked in my yard.
