My pay has never hinged on vaccination rates.
My kids pediatrician always had as many on the sick side of the waiting room as the well side.
If not for vacs and amoxicillin, what is generating income for you?
Middle school sports physicals?

Seems pretty narrow and simple.
CMS is a large payor, for sure, but it's not this comprehensive commentary that OP is implying (and the various incorrect comments confirm people are believing OP blindly and not reading the source material, i.e, references to pharma)

Are you arguing that plenty of compensation is still available for doctors based on vaccinations?

Everyone is welcome to believe what they want. I trust pilots to fly, electricians to keep the power on, etc. If you want to trust a podcaster for medical advice you can but that decision seems silly. As a pediatrician I ask families to trust me when I speak about polio, hepatitis, varicella and hpv. Sure Americans are sick but not because of doctors.

Dollars for Docs...How Industry Dollars Reached Your Doctors
I looked at this some. The top donor company listed, Genentech, has paid out over $400M. I dug deeper and like 90% of that is them paying royalties to the cancer center that created the drug.

Did you look up any doctor you used before 2019? I wish they hadn't stopped updating it...it's been interesting.

And your system tells you what you’re going to tell them when your patients trust you.

If you wanted trust, you shouldn't have been pushing the covid vaccine on young children when the data clearly didn't support doing so.

Great news. Some kids will die of measles, pertussis, rotavirus, etc. but it's a worthy sacrifice. The ones meant to survive can be treated with lean red meat and sunlight

Doctors used to offer their own expertise, knowledge, and experience.
Now they just offer whatever centralized medicine tells you to offer.

That’s not what it says.
Also, ‘vaccines’ aren’t responsible for the staggering amount of Obesity, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, High Cholesterol, etc that plague Americans. Bad personal choices are. Time for people to take responsibility for their health.

Doctors blindly (and willingly) pushing the COVID vaccine opened my eyes.
The majority of doctors are not driven by helping their patients.
I work in a hospital system, which I won't name, and when I was working a ticket at a clinic (I do IT work) I heard the doctor from outside of the patient room trying to convince an elderly black gentleman to get the shot. The doctor and his daughter or granddaughter were basically berating him to get it. The older man refused and said he "don't need no damn shot no one has ever heard of before"

I tried and it only gave me a 504 gateway error

Many people are now having beautiful natural babies. None of these vaccines. And the babies are perfectly healthy. It’s an amazing thing to see.

Today, I trust you as much as I trust your employer. A doctor's opinion was highly respected because through history you were independent. You sank or swam based on your correct or incorrect advice. Eighty percent of you guys are going to parrot corporate or be fired.
As of January 2024, approximately 77.6% of U.S. physicians are employed by hospitals or other corporate entities, with over 44,000 practices acquired by these groups between 2019 and 2024. Corporate entities (including private equity firms and insurers) and hospitals have seen a massive shift in employment, with roughly 55% employed by hospitals and 22.5% by corporate entities.
We were just under 70% before covid, which is still stupid high.
Are you in the 20% or the 80%?

One of the completely foreseeable results of the requirements of doctors to have their own EMR system was that independent doctors would have to be acquired by systems who could more easily bear the costs of implementing, training, and ongoing charges.
