Never have, but I've been unfriended by a couple because of mine.

That's what I do, which is only marginally different than unfriend.

It's like the pussy way to unfriend.

But, yeah, I do it too.

I have but only because it was the only thing they would ever post about. Maybe only two or three people.

I unfriend them if they are being an a-hole.

I only mute them if their politics are being too insufferable.

The main one I muted gets under my skin because she’s now a big city lawyer who pisses on where she came from and talks about how horrible it was despite her being the child of two doctors and driving a Corvette to an exclusive private school.

There are people who can talk shite about where she came from but she was born with a silver enema up her arse to say the least.

I've blocked several people because it was non-stop with them and I got tired of seeing it on my page. I decided that this wasn't a frustration that I'd rather not be exposed to on a regular basis.

I'll unfollow them if its too frequent with the posts...but I'll do the same even if its politics I agree with, people who spam memes, motivational quotes, constantly sharing news articles and so on.

I use FB to keep up with what's going on in the lives of friends and family....not their politics, some recipes or funny pictures they saw and felt the need to share.

Yup. I just don't want to deal with the call from mom asking why I defriended uncle Jim.

Sometimes you get surprised. I knew a guy from high school in the 90s and he was a cool military loving patriot. Well today he cries about Trump being a white supremacist, bad mouth the country constantly, and is just an all around loud mouth liberal. Instead of growing up and maturing he became even more immature.

You get gang sacked sometimes by these folks and never see it coming when you friend them.

Don't really have that many people posting about politics, but some of the meltdowns are funny to witness.

I unfollow if that's all they post about or if what they do post is stupid, tedious, or unoriginal (ie, reposting memes). I rarely completely unfriend. Disagreement itself is fine, just have your own take in your own words and don't be an a-hole. But I only check in once every couple of weeks and haven't made a post myself in over a year.

If I know them in real life-no
If I don't know them and they post Occupy Democrats, or The other 98% memes-yes. I don't have the patience to deal with brainwashed morons.

I unfollow anyone who shares political memes (on either side), I don’t have time for that bullshite in my life.

I’ve also hidden posts from all of the usual pages (Vox, Democratic Underground, Occupy Democrats, Now This, etc)

Keeps my feed political free with minimal effort

No. I just counter everything they say with sound logic. I'm the one who gets unfriended.

I have a cousin who is socialized to the max who lives in Portland Oregon, and is always present when ANTIFA demonstrates in the northwest. He was there when our Samoan friend rebuked the hostile mob. It all started between us on social media when he spammed my timeline with prog filth memes and I removed them without confrontation. He then talked all his hundreds of buddies into sending me friend requests so they could do the same. My profile is private, and I ignored all requests. After a second and third round of him spamming my page and me promptly removing his posts, he unfriended me. Since then, he has sent me multiple friend requests again, and his friends haven't stopped either. But I denied, and my page is peaceful now.

Sometimes.

If they don’t add anything to my life, I usually just put them on ignore.

I've blocked some family members posts from showing up in my feed for a time if their rants get too crazy but I don't remove them from my friends list.

It's a huge problem that affecting where you live, work, socialize and with whom, where you go to church.

The left has become insufferable, how do we adress that.

Says a guy from TD..

I don't use facebook though. From what I've seen, it's everybody's daily diary. And I just don't care about people's lives that much.
