Almost zero percent chance of a civil war. Too far gone and it’s a slow burn. There needs to be a big enough sudden one side or the other defining event to kick one off. Very rare.

The one mitigating factor for their populace being unarmed is that their military has been almost completely decimated from decades of leftwing politics. So it's not like the government could rely on a huge military to subdue the revolt (and a good percentage of the armed forces would side with the rebels.)

I think it would be more likely in France. Remember the Gilets Jaunes? I think the Gauls could be stirred into action with sufficient motivation and the right leader. At least, I like to think so. If that happened, it might then spread across the Channel.

Judging by the paki's that have run their customs for 40 years I think they are more accustomed to being overrun than fighting back.
