Generally curious if you're aware that your rule would definitely exclude you from voting.
How do you figure that dumbfrick?

I am a property owner, have a job and pay federal taxes, and can easily pass any test you could come up with.

Take the L bitch.

I honestly now believe that letting everyone vote was a bad idea.

I just can't decide if it's worse than the other alternatives.

You know it’s true that the dregs of society vote Democrat. You’re just too intellectually dishonest to admit it.

There's no need for a Constitutional amendment, if that's what you are asking. No. If anything is needed, it's to make voting as easy as possible for those who have the right to vote under our constitution.

I never said anything about net this or that.

If you can work and don’t work you shouldn’t vote is all I’ve said about the matter.

You people are weird.

I care you stupid frick. I don’t want idiots who pay no property tax voting to increase mine.

They do pay property tax, or do you not increase their rent? You don’t figure that in when setting the rent price?

And Covid comes along and layoffs or your company goes under and all the sudden you’re filing bankruptcy because shite happens in life and it would be dumb to pretend it doesn’t. Are you no longer a citizen? Do you not see how dumb that idea is?

I take it a step further- only property owners should be allowed to vote or in the very least, people that are not on any type of government assistance!
In other words, if you are on welfare- no voting rights!!

No.

To expand on this:

a) only property owners should be able to vote in property tax elections

b) people who receive federal assistance THEY HAVEN'T PAID FOR should not be allowed to vote for federal offices (i.e., SS, Medicare, VA - yes; Medicaid, Section 8, Food Stamps - no)

c) voting age should be raised to 21

If a govt (local/state/fed) taxes you in anyway (including “payroll” taxes aka ss and Medicare here) then you should have a right to vote if you are a citizen. This is a basic principal on which our nation was founded.

Sales tax thus everyone....

So yes if the government taxes you then you should be a citizen. Taxation shouldn’t be the requirement for citizenship though. A citizen is a citizen, trying to carve out people you don’t like is absurd.

1) Do you think all the folks in the projects are closet geniuses like Good Will Hunting?

2) Certainly not all of either group are dumb, but I think it’s safe to assume they’re statistically on average less intelligent than quantum physicists.

Do retirees have to stop voting? If I’m 80, I could be a Walmart greeter, but I’ll likely choose retirement.

The voting age should be raised to 25. 18 year olds, generally speaking, are not the independent adults they may have been 30 years ago. I blame the "everyone has to have a college degree" generation.
Gonna stop 18 from being allowed to contract, to serve the nation or even their localities too?

Makes zero sense already to send our teenagers to fight and die but deny them booze and tobacco upon their return home. Now people are advocating for these same folks dying and getting crippled for the Constitutional Rights and Liberties of all to even be able to exercise those rights themselves for nearly a decade. No way.

I’m sorry, but if you’re an invalid person without a sound mind in a nursing home or hospital, you probably can’t make a rational choice. You should not be allowed to vote.

Agreed, but where would we draw the line? Someone with an IQ of 75 probably can't make a rational choice either. Do we ban them from voting? (I would be in favor of this, btw).

I think everyone should have to take a 5 question test that only an uninformed moron couldn’t pass before pulling the lever.....you only need to answer 2 out of 5 questions correctly. Dims would lose 30% of their voters....lol!

the franchise should be earned.

1) property ownership
2) income taxes paid
3) verifiable birth and/or naturalized citizen
4) state issued ID

no exceptions.
if you have all of those in place you can vote whether you are 8 or 80

Since West Virginia is only 3 or 4% black.

How is Mancin a Senator and Hillary got almost 30% of the vote in 2016 ?

You said Appalachia white trash votes Republican.

That's another false Liberal talking point.

Liberal filth (white & black) votes for Democrats because of the handouts.

Why would someone on government assistance vote Republican unless they are stupid ?
