Do you support Trump employing a "boots on the ground" policy/strategy in Iran?

For the purposes of this thread, "boots on the ground" shall be defined as:

quote:

Physical deployment of conventional ground forces—such as infantry, armored divisions, artillery units, and combat engineers, in Iran. The purpose of this direct insertion of ground troops would be to physically seize, hold, and secure territory; conduct offensive maneuvers; protect critical infrastructure; or execute sustained direct-action missions within Iranian territory or disputed border areas.

So more than special forces/ops, air, and/or naval campaigns.

The specific goal (regime change, etc.) isn't relevant and can be discussed in another thread. This is about the process, not the goal.

But that’s as far as you’ve gotten with it; you’ll update us in a few months when you come up with a couple more lines?? You promise??

I had to. Regardless what you may say in reply, I was only kidding around.

I wonder how many posters if any will change their tune on this when boots are on the ground after mid terms.

Is coherence secondary to your use of repetitive forms of punctuation?

They’re not downvoting the subject as it’s not a poll, they’re downvoting you because it’s you.

I think the better questions are:

- What can we obtain with boots on the ground, realistically; and
- What person in their right mind would think sending US troops off to slaughter in drone warfare with no real objective is a good idea?
