It does.

"The purpose is irrelevant" is an argument.

Or at least a claim that begs an argument.

Lol, the argument is essentially:
“Do you support the United States deploying conventional ground combat forces into Iran?”

I've called you disingenuous before; this is no different.

That's a question, not an argument.

No. However, I don't think President Trump is planning to put boots on the ground.

I think President Trump is doing the troop movements to screw with the IRGC. Remember Orange Man Bad is a master 5-D chess player.

You know exactly what I meant. I summarized the substance of your post: you’re asking whether people support deploying conventional U.S. ground forces into Iran.

Calling it “a question, not an argument” doesn’t address the point. It’s just a semantic dodge.

Given your operative definition of “boots on the ground,” I suppose a 5 man SPECOP team seizing only a portion of Kharg Island pending the assumption of the task by perhaps a relatively small international security force…..that’s boots on the ground for perhaps a couple of weeks. Yeah I’m not going to lose my mind over “boots on the ground” in Iran.

No. I don't support my tax money going to invade other countries and kill their citizens in general.

I would rather glass the country than waste lives trying to invade and occupy it.

I have no idea what you meant. You didn't use words good, including "your"

Sure if you didn't read. I'll do that for you:

No, you understood it perfectly well. You just chose to ignore the substance and pivot to grammar because that’s easier than answering the point.

Your post asks whether people support deploying conventional U.S. ground forces into Iran. That’s exactly what I summarized. Pretending otherwise is just evasive.

Exactly what do you advise is your personal belief as to what would in your mind legitimately warrant relatively significant deployment of the American military? Tell us what and when it is ok to send the calvary, so to speak. That type exercise would give critical context to your currently vague position statement.

So we agree: that was the question your post was asking, and that’s exactly what I said in the first place.

The rest has just been you pretending not to understand it.

Alright, that one’s on me. So, counselor, what about a vast network of special ops teams, embedded all throughout the country. I’d suggest that to sidestep any label of “boots on the ground.”

This is exactly what you said in the first place

quote:

No, youre argument is flawed from the start; you are making an assumption that we will send combat troops, not logistics or policing.

There is no argument in OP

There is no flaw in the wording of OP

There is no assumption in OP
