Not really but the year I started reading more grown up news when I was 14 I immediately saw how insanely slanted everything was (and its orders of magnitude worse now) then I listened to Rush and Savage, I love those men. Rush is the greatest American since the founding fathers.

The Mizzou poop swastika incident is what made me more political. I immediately realized that the poop swastika wasn’t primarily racist. It was secondarily racist. It was primarily deranged, and anyone who draws anything in shite should be ostracized from civil society. I don’t care if you draw the Last Supper in shite, you should be locked away.
And I found no shortage of deranged Leftards capable of that. Jonathan Butler faked a food strike saying he wouldn’t eat until the Chancellor and Dean resigned, and they did so over lie. I wish I could find the clip where Jonathan eats for the first time in over a week *cough*liar*cough* and he barely nibbles at the burger saying it’s good. I’m sorry, if you’ve gone a few days without eating, you know you scarf that down.
As for seeing the whole system being a lie, I have Anthony Fauci to thank for that. While I suspected he was lying, when he said in late April that he intentionally lied so that doctors and nurses could get the masks, there was no going back from there and Fauci should have been fired. Then I really went down that devastating rabbit hole and found out who the real Anthony Fauci is, and you can’t unsee it.

The Trump Presidency really opened my eyes to the corruption that goes on in Washington and how our government will go after anybody who gets in their way. I finally realized we're not the representative republic we're supposed to be, but rather an oligarchy run by people who actually despise their constituents and who've sold their country down the river for personal riches.

Michael Brown and the "hands up don't shoot" lie that Obama was spinning to fuel division. I've always voted Republican but that was the first time I realized that there was a large faction of politicians and media members who were actively pushing lies to make white men look evil.

Using this definition : for me it was the multiple attempted soft coups by the entire DC bureaucracy against a man who genuinely loved his country.

Not the first straw but the latest one was today, where I'm confident Biden made up a story about a 10 year old girl who was apparently raped and had to cross state lines for an abortion.

I think what did it for me was the full and difficult acceptance a few years ago that almost all of our military conflicts since Vietnam were fought to benefit corporations.

I was always more conservative than most but became more so after an event that happened in my first year as a teacher. A mother provided almost nothing for her two disabled children. I bought Christmas presents for them which the mother took away and traded for drugs. I called social services and the uber liberal social worker acted like I was the problem, telling me that I didn't understand poverty. The mother got SSI checks for both kids in addition to other government assistance. She had a greater monthly income than I did.
