Do the political views of actors, musicians, etc determine if you'll see their movies

or listen to their music?

For example Axl Rose is a gigantic NeverTrumper douchebag so I refrain from supporting him and his band.

Another example is Tom Arnold (yeah I know it's not a good actor). If he was in a new movie that got good reviews, would you go see it? Me, no.

When does your political views affect the way you spend money?

If they mostly keep to themselves I don't care.

If they are massive dbags like Baldwin or Deniro I'm turned off enough I won't seek their movies out.

I haven't been to a movie in a theater in over a decade and their politics is a big reason why.
I cancelled my cable a couple of years or so ago and the left wing bullshite it is full of is a big reason why also.

I can't control what they say or believe nor do I want to but they ain't getting any of my money.
Movies and TV are not the only forms of entertainment

Agreed with above. go out of your way to be an arse, i'm out. I am fine if you don't agree with my point of view but don't attempt to act like you're morally superior and should lecture me about anything. You live a life of excess, you don't relate to the average person. Do your job and we're all good.

Sometimes, if it gets injected in.

And I go out of my way to insulate myself from their political opinions, because often times it ruins music for me. I don’t care what they think and don’t want to know.

Once I know, i try to forget.

Depends on how overboard on it they go. Someone who just makes a few comments during election season or makes a campaign appearance in support of a candidate I don't like....doesn't affect whether I'll see their movies or listen to their music.

Ones with full blown Trump Derangement Syndrome and are constantly on their political high horse....frick em.

No if they are part of a product that I enjoy I will watch it. Just because somebody is really stupid politically doesn't mean they can't be good at other things.

Of course not.

Their political views have no bearing upon their skills as an artist.

If they’re overboard in your face with it I won’t watch their entertainment in most cases.

Usually no.

I won’t watch SNL or Colbert, but that is because the content is so over the top leftist.

Which is a shame because I liked Colbert on Comedy Central. His gimmick made the liberalism more palatable.

Only the extreme loudmouths turn me off to their stuff. I don’t care if they have differning opinions than me. It’s the obnoxious loons who are belligerent that I refuse to watch or listen to

No, but their political views determine if their movies get made and if their music gets heard on the radio and in commercials. Toe the line or get black balled unless you have the means to bypass the machine through self-distribution and promotion.

Singer Benton Blount claims he was kicked off a tour with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top after posting a photo of himself wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and an “I Voted” sticker on election day.

The photo, which also shows Blount holding food items from Chick-Fil-A was captioned, "Someone reading this just got offended multiple times. My work here is done! #Vote" Blount, from Greenville, was a contestant on the TV show America’s Got Talent.

...“I was banned from Facebook (for 24 hours) and now I’ve just been banned from my opening spot on the Billy Gibbons tour. But suppression of Conservative opinion doesn’t happen and it doesn’t effect your career,” the singer posted...

The problem isn't that it's leftist, it's that it isn't funny. Because everyone is pushing so hard to shove a narrative down everyone's throat, they have sacrificed comedy to push the same tired jokes and cheap applause to make us all comply. It stopped being funny a long time ago, but they're so desperate to push that narrative, they keep doing it.

Jon Stewart was an avowed socialist, and still is. However, I watched his show as often as I could because it was very very funny. Trevor Noah isn't funny on the Daily Show. In fact, he's painfully unfunny. If they were funny, I'd take the bias with a grain of salt, but they're not.
