Not supporting a candidate because "6 weeks is too short" will give us abortion up until birth. There's only 2 candidates, so it's a binary choice. That line you speak of does not really exist, which is the point of the OP.

Imagine thinking that someone who opposes abortion on a moral basis, ie sometime who thinks it's killing a baby, would just agree to not make it an issue? Killing babies, cutting them up for parts, and selling them off is not really an issue that someone with any integrity is likely to budge on.
