re: Do anti-vaxers who seem to cherish the thought of complications realize what that means?

I don't care.

Can you read English?

This thread is turning out like your thread where you said that (mandates aside) people should take vaccines that reduce the risk for others (provided they're reasonably safe).

The response to this "you shouldn't wish death on the vaccinated" is just as tribal as that one was, but it shows how much the tribe has moved toward the "vaccine is harmful".

People just want to be left the frick alone……how about the vaccine proponents wanting to exclude not vaxxed people from medical care?

Common theme of people like you is lumping anti-mandate folks with anti vaccine folks.

Are all pro vaccine folks also pro mandate? Pro mandate folks are the ones who infuriate me bc they are the same folks screaming my body my choice when it comes to abortion.

There are obviously questions regarding how common they are

I never said vaccines are 100% safe. Water isn't 100% safe and we need it to live.

I specifically focused on the heart and immune system issues b/c these are the real worries. People on here post daily about how the vaccine is going to give people AIDS. Anytime they can find a young person of some sort of fame who dies, people rush to post about it.

I don't disagree. Again, I'm anti-mandate.

Interestingly, my post didn't mention the mandate, did it.

Now that we know the vaccines aren't very good against stopping spread (at least with Omicron), it's not even a moral issue of risk-reward b/c the spread risk is absolute at this time. If you aren't within a cohort facing dangers, then there's no reason to get vaccinated.
Which is why it is worth trying to figure out if there are any risks which are not being vetted well.

I mean shite man. There were stories about blood clots for MONTHS UPON MONTHS before the CDC finally showed up on the scene to acknowledge them.

And, since you FINALLY acknowledge my point, then you SHOULD be able to see that wanting to know that answer =/= "god, I hope that there are widespread issues...."

Hell, the reality is, that ship has sailed. It is clear that that there are no widespread immediate negatives. But, then again, there are no WIDESPREAD immediate negatives with COVID either!

So, we are evaluating two risks of relatively low rates of occurrence. Hence, your OP is based on a mirage.

Difference being that pretty much nobody cheers for people to die from vaxx complications, but there are a lot of people that don't believe getting vaccinated is worth their time.

This would destroy modern society and send things back to the Bronze or Stone age within a generation (if not sooner).

Is this what you doomcasters want?
You deflecting against what the vaxxers did until they realized that THEY were the ones dropping like flies? Interesting.

I dont think it would go back further than Bronze age - that could work as long as all the Democrat Party and the CCP get decimated

I could be wrong but I think you're talking about masks, not vaccines.

I see it as a feature of "conspirituality". People with tendencies toward esoteric beliefs in the new age/alt-health/wellness realm & those who tend to see world events driven by grand plots are both given to this kind of thinking.

This is a great example actually.

In a question between "super tiny risk from drinking water" and "certain death from not drinking it", you choose "tiny risk from drinking water.

LOL. Thanks for helping my point along.

Oh for frick's sake. Yeah. You've been on this board since the dawn of time and now you're gonna take the "cherry pick the biggest idiots and ascribe them to the whole board" approach?

Come the frick on.

This is LITERALLY a straw man.

I am anti-mandate, but 1/3 of the responses in this thread are about mandates when mandates have nothing to do with OP

I agree with the op. There are constantly threads saying that Bubba in bumblefrick Louisiana found out on the internet from Joe from bumblefrick Arkansas says he heard from his moms brothers best friend say that they heard that a 40 year old guy who got the vaccine a year ago got bit by a mosquito. That means that people who got vaccines are more likely to get bit by mosquitoes.

I know 3 people personally with serious complications. It should be a risk calculation for individuals, not something foisted upon folks like it’s the Black Plague.

0-50 in good health, no reason to inject this shite into yourself
50+ Ot with health issues, then yea, it’s definitely a good idea
