To qualify for the debate, you have to have certain polling numbers AND so many unique donors.

Bloomberg isn't currently accepting donations, so, he fails that part of the test.

The DNC is a mess!

He will run on an independent ticket and the results will be glorious.

Yeah they are. And one of their front-running candidates is a neo-communist Independent from Vermont. That crazy Democrat Party!

Their field of candidates is the political equivalent of the list of contestants in the old Wacky Races cartoons.

I always rooted for the Hillbillies because I think they were from Arkansas and also Penelope Pitstop because she was hot.

In fairness, they have eliminated others from the debate stage under these rules so I'm not sure they can have a billionaire exemption.

He just needs to have his cash pass through some folks.

I'll send him $25...if he sends me $50.

I'll spend mine on large cokes.

He won't go independent.

He got in because he sees the Dem field as a clown show. If Biden can stay alive and keep his mouth shut and hands in his pockets he is the nominee. Bloomberg is presenting himself as the alternative to Biden if Biden implodes.

Biden gets the nomination Bloomberg fades away.

It would be great if he did run as an indy. Take guns away from "average" people and, by the way, no Big Gulps.

Trump would not be able to contain himself!

If he cared about the party, wouldn't he finance someone else more charismatic?

Even as an independent he will probably only get 2-3%. And not a single vote from a trump supporter.

This is weird. Bloomie was almost succeeding in buying himself in. Are the media/DNC all in now for Buttplug?

Steyer and Bloomberg are appealing to the same group of Dems and Steyer has gone up in the polls the last two weeks. He's in the debate.
