I can see your point. I just know for me personally, I wouldn’t want to spend my last days living in fear and having to worry about my families protection. Trump is built differently but I think underneath it all he does value his life and doesn’t want to be offed. I hope they don’t get him, but you know they are going to be trying like hell.

I do think he values his life and doesn't want to be offed too, but I think he ultimately has that attitude that he is going to live his life regardless...like hosting the fighting event on the White House lawn or attending the Knicks game in the championship series. He's a unique for sure.

Trump is plenty rich enough to hire a great security team. All he really needs the feds for is to alert his team to known threats. He will still use the Secret Service, but my guess is that his core team will be private.
