The sad thing about Drudge, and what I think made him most appealing, was that there was always this fun underlying tinge of mischievous humor to his approach.

Why would anyone want a news page as their homepage? Everytime you open your browser the first thing you see is political news?

It's been down or slow a lot these past few days. This is a good thing (tons of traffic not exposed to only fake media) and a bad thing (I need my fix now dammit!).
I only go to Drudge these days to see how the opposition is covering things.

Agreed, his humor is gone. Andrew Breitbart used to run afternoon shift of Drudge years ago. I think Paul Ryan is running it with Romney now.
