What is KD referring to here when he's talking about competing? This was a big story to those of us who follow the NBA. Are you familiar with the context at all? And if so, is he wrong with what he's saying here?

Why dont you tell us, douche?

Maybe it would be different if blacks knew how to act appropriately in a civilized society. A little less worldstar behavior would go a long way to rehabbing the black image.

More predictably lazy deflections. You're educating others on how to intepret evidence by refusing to do so. Solid work.

Others have had no problem figuring out context on their own. Have you been reading the rest of this thread?

Do you think KD has a point when pointing out a disparity in the criticism Jokic and Luka receive regarding their effort level in ASGs compared to some other players?

No.

The criticism of the ASG I have personally seen has been towards all of the players as a whole. As a matter of fact, most critics of the lack of of effort point to a black man, Kobe, as to how they wished ALL of the players in the ASG would play if voted on the team.

I'm not interested in what others have perceived or assumed was your source material for your claim. It's your claim, provide evidence for your claim. Unless of course you can't and that's why you keep deflecting.

How much less do we think Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neil have made career and post-career because America would rather that they were not brothers?

Minimal effort is commonplace across the board. But criticism isn't leveled equally across the board. That was KD's point, and its a fair one. His theory is racial. Mine is more to do with nationality. You are free to present yours

It would take a really big NBA fan to accurately assess the difference in criticism leveled on different players by race.

My theory? Many black people tend to fall back on race when they perceive anything that they don’t agree with. My theory is that they have been conditioned to do this for generations.

Specifically, the Europeans. More specifically, Luka and Jokic. 2 of the biggest stars in the league who often skate this type of criticism.

Dude, this is ridiculous.

Luka has been criticized, in fact absolutely publicly blasted even in the NBA Finals, for his lack of effort defensively. He has had the label as a lazy defender for his entire career.

Weren't you the one accusing others of making things up "out of thin air" itt?

Just ignore this troll. He won't even provide evidence to defend his original claim. He's just trolling and doesn't want serious discussion.

I know, right? God forbid someone point out the double standard the left holds on "context matters".

We are singularly and specifically talking about effort level in the ASG. That was the question KD was responding to. Try to stay on topic.

So you have consumed and kept a tally of every single instance of criticism by talking heads on KD and other black players vs Euro players? And you have determined that KD and the blacks have been disproportionately criticized for their lack of effort?

We all watch the same shite.

Left wing diversity is a lot like post modern feminism. It only moves in one direction.

Are you talking generally here, or have you realized we are only talking about effort in the ASGs? Hard to keep up with you because you seem confused on what the actual topic of discussion is.
