Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' bill.
Leftists are giant lying pieces of shite.
Gay is not in the bill at all and sexual orientation only appears in the bill twice.
From an NBC article:

But legal experts say that whether the bill prohibits the word “gay” itself is a “distraction.”
So now they call their own lie a distraction.
Typical POSs

Wow. They're doing everything they can to burn up all of the goodwill Disney has accumulated over the years. If they don't fire Chapek soon, I'm not sure the company will survive him.
They will because you still can’t stop subscribing to Disney+

Ahh I see. You didn't mean a featured romance. The main themes of any of those movies were not about a hetero romance. So I'm not sure what the point you were making was.

I bet if all us racist, homophobic, worthless, uneducated hillbillies cancelled Disney+ they'd break.
Why do we keep spending money with Disney?

Disney pedos keep getting arrested. Disney cruise ships were headed to Epstein Island and Disney putting MORE sexual content in its shite. And not just more but deviant content.
Sounds like another crazy conspiracy theory is no longer crazy. Tinfoil price keeps rising as demand keeps going up.

One poster said that straight “sexual” tones were being removed from movies.
Disney doesn’t have a lot of sexual tones in their movies, so clearly he just meant romance and a good majority of Disney movies have some element of romance to them.
This whole thing started because people are upset over a supporting character having a same sex kiss.
How Many heterosexual kisses are there in Disney movies? It’s hard to point to an original romance in the last 10 years because Disney is too busy remaking every princess movie. But they all focus around a straight romance.

For the same reason people still keep spending money with LSU or their favorite sports team, or at stores and with other corporations that go out of their way to tell us they hate us.
Because they don't think they can live without whatever the thing is they sell.
Thing is...you can. And no one is saying you need to drop it all completely. Short of living off the grid, there is no way anyone on the right can spend 100% of their money with people that don't hate you. But you can make better choices and attempt to not feel like an actual piece of shite when you spend your money.
It's doable...it just takes a small amount of will power and a few months and it's done. Makes no difference it it makes a dent in the company...it's about you feeling better about how you spend your own money.
ETA: Imagining downvoting a post that suggests you spend money on people that don't hate you.

So, what if you are a gay teacher? If a 5th grade teacher decorates his desk with a picture of him and his husband, he could very well be sued into the ground under this bill
Good. It’s a fricking classroom. There should be no sexualized callouts or politics

Total utter bullshite and why does he need a picture of his husband anyways?

A picture of a teacher and his husband isn’t sexualized and you’re the one making it political.

You are suggesting that it it inappropriate for a straight teacher to have a picture of her and her husband on her desk? Pretty hot take tbh.

You'll get hate for it but you're 100% right. People don't want to do it, but it would change things.

The bill uses vague language about what it bans
quote:
it also bans talk about LGBT for all grades up to 12th that is not "appropriate" but doesn't define what "appropriate" means
This tells me that it allows for interpretation as to what is explicit material. Therefore, nothing LGBTQ is discriminated against.

Straw man. In no way would this hold up in court as a violation of the law.
At the end of the day this is to keep inappropriate content out of schools. Content. I repeat again, content. There is inappropriate content from straight people that should not be allowed in schools.
quote:
This isn't about removing sexual charged content from the classroom, it is entirely about persecuting and striping protections of a subset of minorities for no reason other than a general dislike.
What protection does this bill remove? What right did gays et. al have before this bill that they no longer have?
quote:
Arguing that acknowledging the existence of gays *neccesitates" an explanation of sexual content that is inappropriate for kids is ridiculous, as gay relationships are defined by sex just as much as straight ones. Kids don't fricking care. Just because their teacher is a lesbian does not mean that we have to explain to them what cunnilingus is. If they ask, you just say that the teacher loves their partner, just like mom and dad love each other. Bam. Just like that, conversation over.
That's the point. There have been numerous examples, specifically provided on this board that show the sexualization of education materials in public schools these days. What you stated above is the appropriate answer. Unfortunately, we are seeing much more unneeded explanation at younger ages than need be. This law will provide the framework to keep it in check.
quote:
I've had three key mentors in life. Two are/were (one has passed) hard-core christian conservatives that see the world through crimson-colored sunglasses. One, however, is my high-school English teacher, a gay man from Florida. He saved me from a very dark period in my life and is not just the best teacher I have ever had, but a fantastic person who genuinely makes the world a better place. Pushing him out of his field by legislating a legal right for parents to sue him for simply existing as a gay man is wrong, and hurts our society.
Congrats. I don't care. I have gay brother in laws. Dudes are awesome. Back to straw man bullshite.
At the end of the day, you can support the sexualization of children through the public education system, or you can oppose it. Your choice.

The modern Mouse is obsessed with the glorification of perversion.
Glad the Mouse I grew up with was not this Mouse.
Disney has outlived its usefulness and can go the way of the dinosaurs as far as I care.

That is just an example of what is possible under vague wording in the legislation, but it was also chosen because it is a pretty normal thing to do. I am pretty confident that you have seen someone have a picture of them and their s/o sitting on their work desk.
