Did DeSantis bring up the fact they made the one black actor smaller in film posters in Asia? Like frick off, Disney bends over backwards for China. Until they fix that, tell them to frick off.

Have you even seen the movie?
This is the opposite of her character. She’s supposed to be the strong tomboy on the outside, but on the inside she doesn’t want to always have the be the one to fight be strong etc. IE at time she wants to be the beauty not the brawn
As for the subject of the thread disappointing at Disney’s statement but obviously it’s a half hearted threat given they aren’t moving Disney world. Still I don’t get why they feel the need to cater to insane progressives

I miss the days when corporations didn’t have to stand for every cause.

Fine, she’s a woman trapped in a man’s body. Point remains the same.

Time for Disney World to secede.

Dude, her struggle is supporting and holding up the family. Her struggle is not within herself or being accepted, which would be the theme if she’s trans and has a fricking dick.
You’re completely out of your fricking mind and should seek help if you think Louisa is about being trans. If you think otherwise when it’s as simple that the Disney writers wanted Beauty, Brains, and Brawn to be conflicting, you’re simply fricked in the head.
I don’t even like Encanto, but the trope of the relation between the three sisters is quite frankly literally older than writing. It’s an obvious and easy way to have three people equally at each other’s throats, and it’s as simple as that. Beautiful and Ditzy vs Brainy and Nerdy vs Brawn and Hard. The story writes itself, which is why it’s used repeatedly.

Exactly. Louisa is by no means whatsoever trans or a metaphor to it. You have to be a fricking idiot to think this. No offense, Robin, but you’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer to think this idiocy.

It’s the joke she’s overly buff and it adds to character. Robin, I’m sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but you’re simply stupid. I’m sorry this is a news flash to you, but you have to be very stupid to think that. The movie is beauty vs brain vs brawn and the grandmother being the mediator between the three.

That ain't NOTHING new. Try going to DW or DL the first week of June. We made that mistake back in 2002, when my daughter was 4. It was really bad what they let into those parks while innocent bystanders and their children were exposed to all kinds of queer. Disney didn't become woke yesterday...

I’m stupid because I have a different interpretation of the character?
Why you so mad bro?

If you've ever been to Disney World, you know they don't need your money. They get a lot of foreign tourism.

Chapek needs to get his own shite together - he’s destroyed the Disney Experience

Loudly.
Would be the right political play if he's interested in the WH in 2024. Would move the needle in the primary.

Chapek held out for a good while but eventually caved to the mob. You also have a large (relatively speaking) LG employee base that was supposedly getting vocal as well. I'll bet that had more to do with his decision than anything, as they are already dealing with staffing issues.
Someone needs to get on the shareholder call and ask him why Disney supports four to seven-year-olds being taught about sexual orientation.
