Wasn’t that whole process just starting when the people were allowed into the building? Just wonder why it is always presented as they interrupted the certifying of the election when if memory serves me correctly they interrupted the official challenge to the legitimacy of the election?

At some point Trump and his goofy supporters have to accept responsibility for his nonsense. Zoom out a bit and imagine a world where you constantly say things to rile people up, but you’re never responsible for the outcome. DT is no victim.

Yep, this allowed the coup to run its course. With the "insurrection", Pelosi could now call for an emergency session. Thus, any motion is not allowed and standing becomes moot.

The whole damn thing was a carefully orchestrated operation by the highest ranking Congressional members and the FBI, right down to the timing of the crisis actors "storming" the Capitol building while the doors were opened for them by Capitol police.
