The only evidence so far that Trump was lying when he said this is that Willie Brown disputes it - ok, he would even if it did happen - and that Trump did ride in a helicopter in 2018 with Jerry Brown to tour a wildfire area. That's it and proves nothing.
I've already posted an article, prior to Trump's statement, that Trump "summoned" Brown to Manhattan for a meeting. So they clearly did meet together and it's not wild to believe that they took a helicopter ride together that had a rough landing.

Trump used to support the DEM party with donations, and he has an old picture that Kamala sent him from way back in the day of her family. How the heck would have a pic of Kamala's family from years ago if he did not know her years ago? And, if he knew her, he knew Willie Brown..
