Trump confused Willie Brown with Jerry Brown.
Hey it happens. He made a mistake. I'm sure if a reporter asked him to correct the record he will.

Almost everyone who really dislikes Trump, dislikes him because they believe the lies told about him by the dishonest press (e.g. the Russia Russia frame job by the Hillary campaign, and the "good people on both sides" lie, among countless others)

This is what I heard Trump say. They had to land quickly due to an issue onboard. He didn't say they crashed. He said they "went down" then quickly followed it up with it was an "emergency landing".
Every politician words things in a way that seemingly exaggerates a story, but if this is the "see he's a liar" moment you're looking for, you won't find a politician that passes your honesty meter.

There is no circumstance in which I would vote for Trump for anything.
He is a conman. He is a grifter. He is a fricking failure at everything he has ever done, EXCEPT part fools from their money.
He couldn't care less about anyone other than himself and Ivanka. He ran for president for one reason and one reason only -- President Obama made fun of him to his face at a White House Correspondents Dinner, and that pissed him off.
He is a draft-dodging coward.
No policy position will ever be worth more than those facts.

This wasn't even a lie as much as it was perhaps an overexaggerated recollection of the event. The helicopter did "go down" as they do, and it was an emergency landing.
Some Trump critics are insufferable examining every syllable the guy presents in a speech.

Trump is a confabulator. He lies about being in a near crash in a helicopter.
We all have friends who do this. You learn to smile and nod a lot and say “That’s crazy.”

As a real estate developer, can I see Trump taking a helicopter ride with the mayor of San Fransisco in the 80s? Yes, that's believable.
Did they have an in-flight issue that the pilot resolved? Did they have an emergency landing?
Has Trump had former advocates turn on him since he first ran for President as a Republican? Yes, he has.

This is a stretch for a Gotcha and the fact that this is what you latched onto in yesterday's LIVE PRESS INTERVIEW (Kamala should try one of these) shows that you need to feel a little better about things. However, I will play along. Lots of helicopters make emergency landings due to R & M issues, unfavorable weather, etc. Was Willie Brown on a chopper with Trump when this happened before ?! I don't know. Maybe Trump was mistaken. Maybe it was a different guy with the last name Brown ? Maybe Trump lied ? The fact that crooked arse Willie Brown's word (a guy that 1000% supports his old Chinese Finger Trappin side piece for President ) is your qualifier and his word is end all be all is pretty funny. I bet ol Willie has told a half dozen lies just this morning and it's still 845am in Cali.
