It's shitty that this kid has spent time in jail because of it, but, I actually understand why they are doing this the way they are doing it.
i 100% support him and his actions in what i know about the case. i 100% hope he gets off of murder charges and then goes around and sues the hell out of people.
But... but, he did cross state lines and was underaged for carrying a firearm from my understanding. that charge will stick.

I’m definitely making a motion for summary if I’m the defense. The prosecution has not proven they even have a case.
We had a case recently where a “woke” DA tried to railroad some cops. They ended up impeaching their own damn witness After the prosecution rested we motioned for summary and got it. Never even called our own witnesses or presented our case. It was beautiful

Didn’t bring the gun with him across state lines. This is definitively proven, all parties agree prosecution included.
Also the law there is apparently nuanced and the specs of the rifle he had might have been allowable for a 17 year old. He might not catch any charges.

All I know is that watching this on Court TV right now, this host keeps mentioning that the witness on the stand "works for a conservative site". He's trying to sway public opinion by repeating that, instead of just letting the evidence speak for itself.
Would they mention if he worked for a liberal site? Of course not.
