In my opinion, it did not. Glad they got the guy, but the timing and circumstances are very suspect. I believe it is an attempted distraction from fuel prices, supply chain issues, interest rates, inflation, and the laptop.

No one’s going to remember it next week. Plus he was living next fricking door to the former embassy, so for all I know the cameras are still rolling there and they got that idiot just happening to walk past it.

The polls will probably show a bump because polling is done to shape and influence public opinion instead of capturing it.

Oil prices are falling fast. The price of gas at my station has come down by $1.10 per gallon in the last 6-7 weeks.

I could give a fck about Zawahiri when $250 only gets me a half cart worth of groceries.

Dude was already reported deed...

CIA just figured they'd capitalize off his actual death.

Next week? Hell, if you asked the average person on the street: 'What do you think of Zawahiri?' they would say: 'I don't know. We don't have any Japanese restaurants around here.'

The people dumb enough to believe in that old pervert don't even know who Zawahiri is, much less that he's dead.

Also, killing their leaders does nothing bc they have a new leader step up before the old one's body gets cold.

99.9 out of 100 Americans said "who?".

This Administration and its media shills are throwing everything they have at the wall on a prayer that something might stick.

As terrible as this is to say, they need an attack on some US interest to redirect the public's attention to just how badly they are doing. Pelosi's provocation was a tacit acknowledgement of "we know we suck".

Not with the side by side with the video of him declaring al Queda is eradicated in Afghanistan, no need for any further presence. That mas maaaaybe going too far out on a limb there. What a completely idiotic thing to have said, blatantly leaving no wiggle room in case, hell I don’t know, the head of al Queda happens to be popped in the center of the capital city??

One of the issues with wagging the dog is that people become cynical.

How did he kill somebody that was already dead?

Is that like when Dem voters cast ballots for decades after death too?

This is supposed to be good news??? The price is still about $3.00/gal higher than it was when Biden was sworn in.

What’s with the intelligence community? They found Bin Laden over a decade ago when he didn’t go outside, didn’t make calls, and had his courier use different phones and make calls away from the location.

This guy is swinging his junk on the balcony of a building near the old US embassy and is just now found??

I'd bet you couldn't find one 1 in 10 Americans who would know what you were talking about if you asked them "so, what'd you think of the Zawahiri thing?"

Hell, I admit that I would have to pause to think about it if I was asked on the street.

Had Biden personally killed him in a Kung Fu match, maybe so.

Drones don't count much anymore.
