No, Troy, it is not. Look, you don't understand the concept of a Power of Attorney. That is fine. You are a layperson, and you aren't necessarily expected to have that understanding. But you are ignoring a half-dozen lawyers telling you that you are wrong. That is just intentional ignorance.

I understand it just fine, douchebag. Incapacity to handle your affairs take on quite the other definition when you have displayed that you have bats in the belfry. Apparently it’s your job and others here to play up the too busy part, and downplay or ignore the crazy as a shithouse rat part.

How do you function in life? Seriously.

The question of whether she is currently NCM (she may well be) is entirely DISTINCT from the question of whether the mere execution of a PoA PROVES that she is NCM.

Until you accept that simple distinction, you will continue to flail and embarrass yourself.

Hank,

I believe that is completely about losing mental acuity given the vote taken this past week in the Senate where she was told to say "Aye", and then she went on a speech, and was told to say "Aye" two more times, looked very confused and finally said "Aye".

She probably thought the word was "eye."

I don’t know if this has been posted in this long thread, but they’re keeping her there as a place holder for Adam Schiff. If she resigns now, Newsom(who is related to Pelosi) would have to appoint her successor, and the AAs are pushing Black Congresswoman Barbara Lee.

Leftists are so supportive of the AA Community, as well as being compassionate care givers of the dementia stricken elderly.
Just ask Dr Jill.

Yes, my husband has had POA for years, but didn’t have to use it.
Something does tell me that that’s not the case for Diane.
A good way to find out, is whether she’s been ordering dozens of sets of knives, and commemorative coins from the Home Shopping Network.

Bless your heart. Didn’t mean to scare you little Hanky. I live pretty well, by God’s grace and hard work.

you continue to demonstrate a complete lack of understanding regarding the nature of a power of attorney.

Tell us specifically, please:

Did she execute a general power of attorney or a specific poa?

If specific, list what rights were given up.

Anxiously waiting for the response

Based on reporting, it sounds specific relating to this estate battle in court. She doesn’t lose her right to participate in that proceeding, but she has given her daughter the right to act as her agent on her behalf.

I don’t know anybody, liberal or conservative that thinks she should still be legislating.

Feinstein handed over power of attorney to her daughter, 66-year-old Katherine Feinstein, in part to help handle legal battles over her late husband Richard Blum’s estate, the New York Times reported on Thursday.

Not a Feinstein lover, but people do this all the time if you want someone else handle a case in your absence. For example, you may need to get Power of attorney to let a trusted sibling or person to handle an issue in your absence if you are overseas for an extended period.

Legally speaking, as far as her affairs are concerned, you may be correct. As far the rest of the country's, it screams toward incompetance. But you know that...you just enjoy being a troll

Huh? We didn’t make the claim to begin with. Shouldn’t the person making the original claim have the facts straight? We were simply saying that based on what we know now, the headline in the OP is meaningless.

You jumped in...point was to hank who felt compelled to discuss general vs special poa without an ounce of knowledge about which one was executed and the exact purpose for which it was executed

Personally, given her current state, I would bet $100,000 that it is a general poa because she cannot manage any of her affairs
