How do you know that it wasn't investigated until recently? No one has said that. It makes ZERO sense. The President in July of 2019 noted it and said "I'm sure someone will be looking into it."
That's the President, to whom DHS and DOJ report. That's also the same President who orders his subordinates to go after his detractors. You really think Trump's DHS and DOJ have sat on their hands?
A 12 year old with access to immigration records and the internet could tell you whether or not Ohmar were guilty in less than 48 hours.
