I checked the last four pages and didn’t see anything about this so here you go...

Ron DeSantis
@GovRonDeSantis

The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head.

It is un-American.

The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent.

Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda.

The bit about not assisting in extradition is moot and for political points because apparently Trump has no plans to resist extradition but it’s still nice to see.

Tonight, the GOPE in FL and DeSantis pushed to change the law to allow DeSantis to run and not resign.

100%. It's a weak move. There will be no extradition so what exactly is he preventing?

If he meant it, then he should have said something when indictment stuff first started. Maybe he did. I just don't recall

The hilarious part, is I can pull up posts from last week from Trump worshippers saying if DeSantis doesn’t refuse extradition then he’s a “cuck”. DeSantis refuses extradition and the same dickheads are pissing themselves over that. It’s unreal the hero worship you guys have going on. I have NEVER seen this much devotion to a politician in my lifetime.

Exactly! The optics of Desantis having FLA LEOs arrest a former President that carried his State and flipped Dade County, would destroy him. Especially considering most do not understand the Constitution and would only see this in the lenses of a political move. If Desantis were to finally announce his candidacy, I can easily see a Trump political ad of Desantis then FLA troopers going to Mar a Lago.

Trump, politically, is in a win/win situation.

Of course you can. They’re unhinged.

- Why won’t DeSantis fight!!!
- DeSantis isn’t saying anything about an arrest that hasn’t happened !!!
- DeSantis said something but it was the wrong thing!!!
- DeSantis said what we wanted but it’s just politics!!!

That’s fair.

It’s just that it’s a non issue so this seems like a hollow political play but like I said it’s still nice to see.

It would be interesting if Trump was in FL and said he wasn’t going to NY if DeSantis would say FL would not assist extradition. Such a scenario would make this juicier for DeSantis. I’d like to think DeSantis would say the same in that scenario.

You have to admit this guy is totally out of this. You can see he is trying but it's way late or just not right. It doesn't look natural and seems phoned in. There is no energy. He doesn't even seem like he wants to do anything. I wanted this guy to run. I wanted there to be a good sized group of candidates. Now I just want the guy to go away. We definitely need more candidates running and soon. Looks like Desantis is getting the congress to let him run and have his governorship to fall back on but it's a bit creepy how it's panning out. I'm glad for some of y'all that you'll be able to vote for the guy but I'm over Desantis at this point. The vibe I'm getting from him is just wierd

Those two are definitely enemies behind the scene. Desantis finally stands up to NY and not assist extradition but then Trump walks past him to NY to face these accusations. I do not know. I'm nearly to the point I completely stop with the politics, find out the news by word of mouth only, and wait for the day the UN try to patrol my streets. Me and my neighbors will give them hell.

Hard to blame them. It’s CYA in case something heads south on Trumps case. They have to have a back up plan.

Bunch of bitter old ladies in here. If DeSantis said he would assist NY in extradition, y'all would be sharpening your pitchforks.

This is because you are a Trump sycophant. You are here to shat all over DeSantis regardless of what he does/says. You/JJdork/and the rest of your crew are all the same way.

You are an either or type of person aren't you? Either with me or against me type. You're also very clingy.

As of today yea I'm voting for Trump. I'm not as thin skinned as a lot of others here that wouldn't vote for him because of mean things he says. Doesn't mean I wouldn't consider anybody else. His leg up in my mind is he and the left are locked in a death battle and I see no reason to pull him off. Maybe that's not exactly traditional president but that just represents the times. After seeing how possessed the left can be I was hoping Desantis had a better way but it hasn't shown. Maybe it will once he runs, I don't know.

One thing is for sure. I don't want to send someone that can't handle a tiff with Don because the demons in DC are a lot worse than that.

I'm not anti Desantis. I've said many times I hope to see more. Well, he did more but I'm not convinced he's the guy. And that's worrisome if Trump doesn't make it to 2024 because Desantis would be all we had. If they pull it off and they have their way with Trump I guarantee no one of quality would run the risk of a presidential bid against this iron fisted government. If someone that did check all the conservative boxes successfully ran then they would be suspect by America First voters, and rightfully so. I don't know how we get past this insanity.

It would be great if Trump ran and saw this insanity through and maybe by 2028 this dark time will be behind us, whatever that conclusion looks like, and then a more standard temperament candidate like Desantis can carry us forward. The left is just too dang charged right now for Desantis. In my simple minded opinion
